- Interfere with other users, the comment system, or our editorial workflow.
3. Comments and the newsroom
We welcome critical, even pointed comments from people working in the industry. Disagreement is not abuse. Calling someone an idiot is. Aim higher than the worst version of online discourse.
- Use a real name or a consistent handle. We will remove obvious throwaway identities used to attack others.
- Disclose conflicts of interest when you have one.
- If you work at the company being discussed, say so.
4. Enforcement
We can remove content, edit comments for moderation, suspend or close accounts, block IP ranges, and refer matters to law enforcement when appropriate. We do not pre-screen every comment. Speed of moderation depends on the report and the volume.
Steps we typically take:
- Warning and content removal for first borderline cases.
- Account suspension for repeated or serious violations.
- Permanent ban and IP blocking for severe or persistent abuse.
- Reporting to authorities for illegal content.
5. Reporting
Report abuse or content that violates this policy to hello@highintentmedia.com. Include a link to the content and a brief description.
Report a suspected security vulnerability to the same address. Please do not test live user accounts and please give us a reasonable window to fix issues before public disclosure.
6. Appeals
If we removed your content or suspended your account and you believe we got it wrong, reply to the moderation email or write to hello@highintentmedia.com with the context. We will review and respond.
